Nout’ Souk, the brand-new album by trio Akoda, led by Reunionese pianist Valérie Chane-Tef, will be released on March 25 (in two days’ time, in fact…). This second album comes three years after Musik Pou Lo Kèr, which seduced us back then. We are delighted to find here the Creole recipe of this trio that bridges the gap between the Indian Ocean and the West Indies, with the complicity of Franck Leymeregie (drums) and Benjamin Pellier (bass). For the occasion, Akoda has invited a number of guests: Olivier Ker Ourio, Emmanuel Léveillé and Nita Alphonso.
As for le Bananier Bleu, its president, Alain Joséphine, painted an enthusiastic picture of the album.
