How could we not wish Jacob Desvarieux a moving birthday on 21 November? In 1984, in a duet with Georges Décimus, he wrote the zouk anthem, Zouk-La Sé Sel Medikaman Nou Ni, and the title is still, to this day, furiously – and unfortunately – topical!
