The 2007 album Inside Out by Barbados-born saxophonist Arturo Tappin has a light Caribbean and reggae flavour. Over a highly sequenced background, the saxophonist unfurls a smooth jazz that Grover Washington Jr. would not have disowned. A former Berklee student, Tappin has recorded with Monty Alexander, Luther Vandross and Gerry Rafferty. He has also accompanied Roberta Flack.
