🎶💃🥁🎺🎹 The little-known Ebongué Bille owes his reputation to two singles. Dibolane A Ndolo, released around 1983 on the label of Black Styl Nkotti François, and before, this 12″ released in 1980 with the help of François Misse Ngoh and Toto Guillaume. Makossa in its purest form here, with Esi Ma Pula Loko featuring Misse Ngoh at almost every position, from trumpet to keyboards, and Donald Wesley on drums. On the B side, Esuwa Na Muemba is perhaps even funkier, under the fingers of Toto Guillaume and the bass of Aladji Touré.
