The ultra-prolific and brilliant Brian Eno has just released Remain in Light by the Talking Heads. In ’81, he also accompanied Jon Hassell on his dreamlike Dream Theory in Malaya and, in a different vein, continued his Ambient series. But in a major departure, the Fela fan that he also is, brings together the Ghanaians of Edikanfo to produce their one and only album, The Pace Setters. A tasty blend of highlife and afro-funk. As unexpected as it was successful, the album will mark its era and was re-released last year, theoretically to be followed by a reformation tour for the band, which this f**** year 2020 will have finally managed to cancel.
