Among Guadeloupe’s traditional steel band formations, and alongside Les Palmiers from Capesterre Belle-Eau, is Steel Band Shell de Port-Louis. Signed to Célini, they published this “Souvenir de la Guadeloupe” in 1970, where they covered a mix of classic local tracks, and international hits, such as In The Mood.
