🎹🌴🎷🎶🎵 Le Temps Fou, pianist Jonathan Jurion‘s first album under his own name, has just been released on the brand-new Komos Jazz label created by Antoine Rajon. Jonathan has chosen to revisit Marion Brown’s repertoire as a trio, immersing it in subtle Creole jazz. He is accompanied by Arnaud Dolmen, a long-standing accomplice, and Michel Alibo, who chooses here to play double bass. Brown’s repertoire comes masterfully to life, and a number of guests – Olivier Juste, Josiah Woodson and Jowee Omicil – lend their support. A word also about the quality of the production, particularly meticulous, and the superb graphics by BrĂĽno.
