🇬🇭🎺🎵🌴🎶 Ghanaian highlife legend Ebo Taylor began his career in the 1950s, before leaving to study music in London with a number of “colleagues” including Fela and the future Osibisa… Nothing less. Back in Ghana, he fused highlife with soul, jazz and reggae in a career that was as long as it was chequered. Rediscovered by younger generations over the last ten years or so, he benefits from quality re-releases, and continues to produce and tour. In 1976, he returned to his hometown of Cape Coast to reunite the Pelikans and record these seven swaying tracks, including the emblematic Come Along, the anthem of Ghana funk, and the irresistible Egya Edu.
