🎺🎉🥁🌴🎶 The Martiniquais of the Plastic System Band arrived in 1984. The carnival marching band, led by Alain Geneviève and Michel Galva, will soon be celebrating its fortieth anniversary. Inspired by the carnivals of Rio and the steel drum parades of Trinidad, the band’s energy is truly electric. Their first album, released in 1990, is a faithful testament to this, and the hit Brinzing from it left a lasting impression on carnival-goers of the time! Philippe Burdy’s bass and Tony Chasseur, Léa Galva and Sonia Pinel-Féréol’s backing vocals were also featured on this first album.
