Sam Alpha – 1983

,

Sam Alpha is best known for his Creole interpretations of Georges Brassens. They have made him a success, but his repertoire is not limited to them. Here, he performs a few personal songs with often profound lyrics, under a light and sometimes humorous guise. He is also ably accompanied by pianist Roland Louis, here with one of his Zouker’s, bassist Julien Tarquin. Claude Vamur also joins in. The ensemble is completed by Sallah Anne, René Cabral, José Sebeloué, Christian Siba, Marcel Louis-Joseph, Albert Mucret and Louis Toesca.
